ABOUT US
Let the Children is a wholesome, safe, fun, SING, DANCE, LEARN and PLAY TV show for viewers aged 1 to 6... and beyond! Back in 2006 Let the Children creator Helena Madden began writing songs and scripts for a live show which is now in its fourth year. In 2008 Helena’s husband Russell gave up the corporate world to join the live show and begin development of the TV show. Helena and Russell have performed and toured together in front of young audiences since they were married in 1996. Recently adding their talented daughter Emmerson, the Let the Children team has loads of fun inspiring viewers to SING, DANCE, LEARN and PLAY.
Let the Children TV shows are mainly filmed on location with themes such as “Come to the Beach”, “Come to the Farm”, “Come to the Garden”, Come to the City” and “Learn about the Body”. Helena and her young companion Frills, played by Emmerson, have a great time introducing fun loving characters in each theme like Surfer Steve, Farmer Fred, Gardner Gary, Bus Driver Bill and Healthy Hector, played by Russell.
Original Let the Children songs with simple catchy lyrics and easy to follow movements inspire the viewers to SING, DANCE, LEARN and PLAY as they are taken on journeys to discover such things as beach safety, jobs on the farm, creatures in the garden, places to visit in the city and keeping your body healthy.
“There’s so much fun we will have today as we SING and DANCE and LEARN and PLAY”.
